Miller Named KY PGA Jr. Player of the Year

E. Miller

Emlie Miller, a 4th grader at Central Elementary, has earned back-to-back titles as the Kentucky PGA Junior Player of the Year for her division.  In addition to this accomplishment, she completed a perfect season as the champion of each of her tournaments.

Miller’s success was recently featured by Kentucky Junior Golf.  She was quoted stating, “I’m so happy to be receiving this award for the second consecutive year.  It means so much to me to be named Player of the Year.  My signature moment of the season was when I holed out from 76 yards away at the 10th hole of the Country Club of Paducah during the Independence Bank Western Kentucky Junior Championship….I'm always working to improve my putting and short game! Next year, I want to keep winning as many tournaments as possible and try to be Player of the Year for the third year in a row.”

Emlie is the daughter of Graves County Middle School Principal Jonathan Miller and Jade Miller, a teacher at Wingo Elementary.  Her sister, Kylie, is following in her footsteps as another award winning golfer in the family.
